On October 25, we published an article following another publication’s report on a paper claiming a site in Indonesia could be a pyramid built 9,000 years ago.
The Archaeological Prospection study on the Gunung Pedang has since been retracted. The organisation added: ‘The interpretation that the site is an ancient pyramid built 9,000 or more years ago is incorrect’.
We have removed the article from the website, and are happy to set the record straight.
